- How often should tyres be replaced?
- Tyres are generally due for replacement once tread depth drops below the legal minimum or shows uneven wear. Driving conditions and how the vehicle is used both affect how quickly this happens.
- What's the difference between tyre balancing and wheel alignment?
- Tyre balancing corrects uneven weight distribution around the wheel to stop vibration at speed. Wheel alignment adjusts the angle of the wheels themselves so the car drives straight and tyres wear evenly.
- Can a punctured tyre always be repaired?
- A puncture can often be repaired if it's small and located in the tread area, away from the sidewall. Damage closer to the sidewall or a puncture that's too large usually means the tyre needs replacing instead.
